Locations: Honiley & Solihull

Contract: Ongoing Long-Term (ad-hoc basis, 0hr)

Pay Rate: £13.44 per hour PAYE or can be paid via Limited Company (Outside IR35)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (as required)

We are seeking a professional and experienced Self-Employed Valeter to provide cover support across two prestigious automotive sites based in Honiley and Solihull. This opportunity sits within a private and highly confidential department responsible for VIP vehicles, press cars, event vehicles and show cars. It is an excellent opportunity to work within a premium automotive environment where quality is prioritised over speed and attention to detail is paramount. This is a flexible 0-hour contract position, providing cover support when required across both locations. The successful Self-Employed Valeter will ensure an immaculate finish across entire vehicles, including (but not limited to) interiors, exteriors, engine components, under-bonnet areas, lower door shuts, and inner front wings. A meticulous approach and pride in delivering high standards are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Jet washing
  • Application of traffic film remover
  • Soap and Sponge of vehicles
  • Blow Drying of vehicles
  • Leather drying of vehicles
  • Interior vacuuming
  • Wiping of all interior trim
  • Window cleaning
  • Removal of water marks
  • Dressing of tyres and wheel arches
  • Attend briefings with Team Leaders
  • Escalation of hazards, near misses and accidents to Team Leaders
  • Adhere to Health and Safety, COSHH and Environmental procedures.

Knowledge And Skills Required:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential) – maximum of 6 points
  • Experience of working within a professional valeting position
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours including ability to complete overtime.
  • Flexible attitude towards location as travel between sites may be required.
  • Understanding of COSHH
