This position supports the preparation, painting, polishing, and finishing of specialist components including plastic and carbon fibre, where quality and attention to detail are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Surface preparation of plastic and carbon fibre components
- Carry out primer, base coat and lacquer application
- Complete polishing and finishing activities to high cosmetic standards
- Inspect painted components to ensure quality standards are achieved
- Support production requirements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards within the paint area
- Work collaboratively with production and quality teams
- Support continuous improvement activities
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within an automotive or specialist coatings environment
- Experience spraying automotive components, prototypes, show vehicles or refinishing work
