Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Team Leader
- Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams.
- Act as the main point of contact for production activities and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate workforce deployment, machine utilisation, and shift resources.
- Lead shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records.
- Ensure work is completed in line with procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Promote compliance with health, safety, environmental, and 6S requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
- Support employee development through training and coaching.
- Investigate operational issues, implement corrective actions, and elevate where necessary.
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and overall team performance.
- Conduct investigations and produce reports when required.
- Maintain clear communication across teams to support operational success.
Hours & Pay
Hours: 39 hours per week
Pay: £18.34 per hour + shift allowance
Rotating Fortnightly Shifts:
- Monday to Thursday 06.00am - 14.00pm (8 hours per day)
- Friday 06.00am - 13.00pm (7 hours per day)
- Monday to Thursday 14.00pm - 22.00pm (8 hours per day)
- Friday 13.00pm - 20.00pm (7 hours per day)
