Rate: ÂŁ27.21 per hour UMBRELLA PAYE

As a Manufacturing Systems Trainer, you will ensure effective and timely training delivery for new technologies and processes, playing a key role in ensuring the global workforce is well‑prepared for deployment releases. Your work will directly contribute to the adoption of cutting‑edge manufacturing systems and processes in a highly prestigious environment.

Key Responsibilities Of The Manufacturing Systems Trainer

  • Training Delivery & Development: Design, develop, and deliver role‑based user training, including classroom courses, online content, assessments, and simulation exercises. Create blended learning materials and assess user knowledge at different levels, including quick reference guides and videos. Organise and conduct on‑site/off‑site training events, ensuring timely and effective delivery across global sites.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Management: Define and manage stakeholder engagement, aligning stakeholders and securing buy‑in for training plans and deployment releases. Identify and onboard Early Adopters and Super Users, ensuring active engagement for the successful adoption of new systems. Develop and manage training and engagement plans for all stakeholder groups.
  • Change Management & Adoption: Collaborate with Business Process, Testing, and System specialists to ensure business readiness for new manufacturing systems. Evaluate the impact of training through post‑training assessments and continuous feedback loops. Monitor and manage the overall impact of change, ensuring that it is successfully adopted and sustained. Create and support communication efforts to engage users and ensure successful deployment.
  • Collaboration & Cross‑functional Teamwork: Work closely with the global team, including colleagues from diverse regions (Europe, China, India, Brazil, Slovakia, etc.), to understand training needs and deliver tailored solutions. Liaise between business, technology, and support teams to ensure the effective and smooth integration of training programs.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Training Delivery: Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver structured and engaging training to diverse audiences, including senior leaders and shop floor employees.
  • Change Management: Ability to lead and manage change effectively, ensuring end users are prepared and supported throughout the transition.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Understanding: Comfortable digesting and simplifying technical documentation for non‑technical audiences.
  • Data Analysis: Strong experience in learning data analysis, metrics, and reporting.
  • Self‑Management: Self‑directed, disciplined, and able to work autonomously and with urgency in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Global Experience: Experience working with international teams across multiple regions.
  • Tools & Platforms: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with software applications like JIRA/Confluence.

Desirable

  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES): Familiarity with MES and how it integrates with manufacturing processes.
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS): Experience with SAP Learning Management System in SuccessFactors.
  • Software Proficiency: Exposure to EnableNow, RISE, and other training‑related platforms.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment is highly advantageous.

Qualifications

Degree or Equivalent Experience: A relevant degree or equivalent work experience is preferred but not essential.
