Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Quality Management Systems in line with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Plan and conduct internal audits, ensuring compliance with documented procedures and work instructions
- Oversee PPAP submissions and ensure adherence to customer and contractual requirements
- Act as the primary interface for customer quality concerns, supporting internal and external audits
- Drive continuous improvement through structured problem-solving methodologies and data analysis
- Lead quality performance and cost-of-quality assessments using statistical tools
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and lead kaizen events across production areas
- Provide coaching, guidance, and training on quality-related matters to internal teams and customers
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Quality Engineer within a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Qualified Internal Auditor to ISO 9001 standards
- Strong knowledge of problem-solving tools such as 8D, A3, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys
- Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all organisational levels
- Confident working with cloud-based systems
Desirable:
- Knowledge of IATF core tools
- VDA Auditor certification
