The Assembly Operative will be responsible for the assembly and sub-assembly of bespoke vehicle interiors, ensuring all components are fitted to a high standard. Working across multiple build stages, the Assembly Operative will focus on precision assembly, quality finishes, and supporting the overall build process. The Assembly Operative will play a key role in delivering high-quality vehicles by ensuring all assemblies meet specifications and are completed efficiently. This position requires strong attention to detail, hands-on skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble and install interior units, fixtures, and fittings to specification
- Carry out sub-assembly of components before final vehicle installation
- Work from the build instructions and technical drawings to complete assemblies accurately
- Inspect assembled components and interiors to ensure quality and fitment standards
- Carry out adjustments, refinements, and finishing tasks as required
- Support the build process across multiple stages of vehicle production
- Conduct detailed checks of completed assemblies before final installation
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment and ensure tools are kept in good condition
