We are seeking an experienced Automotive Detailer to join a specialist automotive environment based in the Coventry area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with professional automotive detailing experience who takes real pride in their work. You will be working with a range of prestige, high-value and vintage vehicles, where exceptional standards, attention to detail and care are essential. Quality is the priority within this environment, and the successful Automotive Detailer will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are finished and presented to an immaculate standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine/mop polishing of vehicle paintwork
- Paint correction and enhancement
- Application of ceramic coatings and vehicle protection products
- Removal of light paint defects, swirl marks and imperfections
- Detailed preparation and finishing of vehicle exteriors
- Inspection of paintwork and completed finishes
- Ensuring vehicles are presented to an exceptional standard
- Ensuring high-value and vintage vehicles are handled with exceptional care
- Reporting any damage, defects, hazards or concerns to the Team Leader
- Following Health & Safety, COSHH and environmental procedures
The Ideal Prestige Automotive Detailer
- Previous experience within a professional automotive detailing position
- Strong experience with machine / mop polishing
- Experience applying ceramic coatings
- Good knowledge of paint correction, finishing and detailing techniques
- Experience working with prestige, specialist, classic or high-value vehicles would be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail with a quality-focused approach
- Comfortable working within an environment where high standards and precision are essential
- Full UK Driving Licence β maximum of 6 points
- Understanding of COSHH procedures
- Flexible approach to working hours and overtime when required
- Flexibility to travel between local sites where required
