Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing activities and commercial negotiations for a diverse range of technical commodities and components
- Develop and implement robust procurement strategies aligned to business objectives and programme requirements
- Build and manage strong supplier relationships, driving performance across cost, quality, delivery, and service
- Identify and deliver cost optimisation and value engineering opportunities while maintaining product quality and performance
- Support new vehicle development programmes through proactive supplier engagement and procurement planning
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and programme teams to ensure technical and commercial objectives are achieved
- Manage purchase orders and supplier commitments to support production schedules and key programme milestones
- Monitor supplier performance, addressing risks and implementing improvement plans where required
- Mitigate commercial and supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and wider supply chain operations
