The development of Springfield consists of 65 beautiful supported living apartments situated in the heart of the National Forest. The Service provides extra care housing, alongside 24-hour care and support services. The people living at the service will predominantly be adults aged over 55 years, although there will also be a small number of working-aged adults with care and support needs.

The scheme has staff on duty 24 hours a day who deliver packages of care to meet assessed needs, and a management team to ensure that the scheme remains safe and compliant and works to achieve outstanding results for the people that live there.

We are seeking a Care and Support Worker who is passionate about supporting the needs of older people and/or those with learning difficulties. The Care and Support Worker will be responsible for providing outstanding levels and high standards of integrated, person-centred care. This will meet the needs, aspirations and ambitions of the people we support, in line with CQC Regulations and company policies and procedures. You will promote individual rights and personal dignity for service users and provide them with every opportunity for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Good knowledge base of the needs of older people and/or those with learning difficulties or disabilities.
  • Understanding and awareness of health and safety issues.
  • A good awareness of Equal Opportunities when supporting people with complex needs.
