The governing body is seeking to appoint two teaching assistants (level 2) to support our pupils to achieve high outcomes across the curriculum. Teaching assistant vacancies are in both Key Stage 1 and 2. Ashbury Meadow Primary School is a two‑form entry primary school with a Nursery and Resourced Provision located in Beswick, close to the city centre of Manchester and near the Etihad stadium. We are a vibrant and multicultural school community with 460 pupils. Our team is highly engaged and works together to meet the needs of all students and help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Support our pupils in both Key Stage 1 and 2 of our forward‑looking, diverse, and vibrant school.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to engaging with professional development.
  • Follow the class teacher’s directions to ensure a high quality education for our pupils.
  • Implement the school’s curriculum and intervention programme to a high standard.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, show initiative, and adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils.
  • Provide accurate feedback to the class teacher.
