Terrace View Retirement Village is seeking a confident, compassionate, and capable leader to take the reins of our growing, boutique retirement village in Ashburton. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while overseeing the day-to-day operations of a premium lifestyle community.

About the Role: As Village Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth and successful running of the village, ensuring it remains a welcoming, safe, and vibrant place to live. This includes overseeing staff, maintaining high standards of resident care and satisfaction, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. A key part of your role will be fostering a warm and engaging community culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support and inspire a dedicated village team
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families and the wider community
  • Oversee property and facility maintenance to a high standard
  • Ensure operational compliance with retirement village regulations
  • Manage budgets, reporting, and village administration
  • Assist with sales of our villas, apartments, studios and care suites

  • Proven experience in a Village Manager or similar leadership role within a retirement or aged care setting
  • Strong people management and communication skills

  • Sales or customer service background is highly advantageous
  • Financial acumen and operational know-how
