Description
We are a small Mid-Canterbury based company priding ourselves in providing a quality product to our customers. We are the premier manufacturers of ATV Bullbars and Accessories in New Zealand and a leading manufacturer of Ute Lids, Ute Decks and Horse Floats. We also have a busy light engineering workshop which incorporates our CNC Tube Bender and Metal Fabrication Department.
We require a keen, self-motivated, mechanically minded person with problem-solving skills to assist in the manufacturing of our ATV Bullbars, Mudflap Brackets and ATV Trailers. You will also have the opportunity to manufacture and assemble Ute Decks.
This position will require you to:
- Perform assembly work to detail
- Small production runs
- Work to timeframes
- Work off jigs
- Able to work unsupervised and also as part of a team
- Welding Experience (6 Months)
We are looking for someone with some experience, but training will be provided to a person who is a quick learner, shows initiative and has the right attitude to fulfil this position. Must also be keen to have a future in this line of work.
Ashburton is conveniently located near Mount Hutt Ski Field, Opuke Thermal Hot Pools & Spa, Terrace Downs and Lake Hood for your water-skiing, wakeboarding and family BBQs. Our back country and rivers offer plenty of hunting, fishing and tramping.
