Our client a well established main contractor are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to lead commercial and industrial refurbishment projects.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire project. You will ensure the project is completed on time and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all on-site activities for the refurbishment project, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials and services.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress to the Contracts Manager.
Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the course of the project in a timely and effective manner.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of all site activities, including daily logs, safety records, and progress reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on refurbishment and fit out projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
