This traditional main contractor is looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee and ensure the successful delivery of projects. With a turnover in excess of £60M, its core business is the delivery of construction projects ranging in size from £1 million to £10 million, including both refurbishment and new build. They carry out projects in all sectors of the market, the largest proportion being in education and residential. It also has a strong continuing presence in commercial, health, ecclesiastical, sports, and leisure.

They are looking for a Contracts Manager who is experienced at looking after three to four projects at a time of varying values and complexities. You will be required to regularly visit all sites within your control; producing programmes and method statements, ensuring the standard and quality of work, managing safety, maintaining the adequacy and accuracy of records, efficiency, security, use of plant and materials, and the correct use of sub-contractors and labour, as well as upholding the company’s image.
