Our client, a well-established construction business with a turnover of £50 million, is seeking a proactive and highly organised Health & Safety Advisor to join their team in Hatfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about promoting a positive safety culture and driving continuous improvement across multiple construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all Health & Safety activities across the business, ensuring full compliance with legislation and industry standards
- Prepare clear, accurate H&S reports for the Construction Director
- Develop and implement new safety initiatives, promoting continuous improvement across the organisation
- Work closely with site teams, project managers and senior leadership to embed best practice
- Maintain and update all H&S documentation, policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of current legislation, regulations and industry best practice
