Our client is a successful private and independent construction contractor operating within London and the South East. They are a business committed to providing a first class, professional service to their clients. They are currently seeking to recruit a Materials Buyer seeking advancement to join their centralised buying function.
Role and responsibilities:
- Material plant and waste management
- Operating Markets: Social Housing, Education, Health, Leisure, Commercial, Fitout, Special Works
- Contracts from £2k to £10m
- Group direct and indirect spend on material plant
- Managing the purchasing on individual mixed scale contracts
- Production and maintenance of cost/value reports
