Your Role as a Qualified Nursery Nurse

As a Qualified Nursery Nurse, you’ll be a key part of the team, supporting children’s learning, development, and well‑being every day. You’ll help create a stimulating environment, plan and deliver activities that promote learning and growth, and build strong relationships with the children and their families. This is a hands‑on, rewarding role where you’ll see the positive impact of your work on the children in your care.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting children’s learning and development through creative, fun, and age‑appropriate activities
  • Observing and assessing children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework
  • Ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
  • Supporting the wider nursery team to maintain high standards of care and education
  • Assisting with day‑to‑day activities such as mealtimes, playtime, and naptime
  • Helping to ensure the nursery meets all health, safety, and safeguarding standards

About You

  • You hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • You have experience working in an early years setting and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • You’re passionate about providing high‑quality care and supporting children’s development
