Your Role as a Lunchtime Assistant

As a Lunchtime Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children and staff during the busy lunchtime period. You will help ensure that mealtimes are safe, relaxed, and enjoyable for the children in our care.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Helping to set up and clear away lunch areas
  • Assisting children during meals, encouraging healthy eating and good table manners
  • Supervising children and ensuring a safe and happy lunchtime environment
  • Supporting children with feeding if needed
  • Following all health, safety, and safeguarding policies
