Your Role as Bank Staff
As Bank Staff, you will be supporting the nursery team by providing flexible, ad-hoc cover for shifts as needed. Whether it is helping out when a team member is off sick, covering busy periods, or lending a hand during events, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery. You will get to work with children across different age groups. What You Will Be Doing
- Providing flexible cover across all age groups and rooms, as required
- Assisting with the care, education, and development of children in line with the EYFS framework
- Supporting the nursery team with daily activities, play, mealtimes, and naptime
- Ensuring the nursery is a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider team
- Helping with observations and recording children's progress, where needed
- Adhering to all nursery policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and cleanliness
Key Requirements
- A passion for working with children and helping them grow and develop
- Experience in an early years setting is preferred, but not essential
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to step into different rooms and age groups
- A friendly, positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required
- Willingness to learn and follow the nursery's safeguarding and health & safety guidelines
