Job Overview: Our beautiful care home Ashbourne Court is seeking a skilled and dedicated Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining our beautiful gardens. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of landscape maintenance, gardening techniques, and the use of power and hand tools. We are looking for someone with strong gardening knowledge.

Duties:

  • Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
  • Plant, water, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Prune and shape plants to maintain their health and appearance
  • Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed
  • Use of a jet wash to clean paths
  • Clean and maintain garden beds by removing weeds and debris
  • Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
  • Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners for various gardening tasks
  • Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute landscaping projects

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in gardening
