We are seeking a motivated and charismatic individual who is fluent in all aspects of Persian to join our admissions team on a part-time/full-time basis. This role will primarily focus on student recruitment, with particular emphasis on engaging prospective students from Iran and other Persian-speaking countries. The ideal candidate will have sales experience and be willing to travel to Iran on a regular basis.
Beyond recruitment, this role involves maintaining strong relationships with the students you have recruited, as well as their families, once they join Ashbourne. The successful candidate will help ensure a consistent cohort of 20+ Iranian nationals at the college while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Student Recruitment & Outreach
- Actively recruit students from Iran and other Persian-speaking regions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, agents, and schools.
- Travel to Iran and other relevant locations for recruitment events.
- Provide detailed information about Ashbourne’s academic offerings and student experience.
- Relationship Management & Student Support
- Maintain strong relationships with students and their families.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the students you recruit.
- Work closely with personal tutors and support staff.
- Organise extracurricular activities and social events.
- Translation & Communication
- Create marketing materials targeted to Persian-speaking students.
- Translate key documents and communications.
- Assist with interpreting during meetings and discussions.
- Administrative Duties
- Ensure smooth transition from enquiries to registration.
- Maintain accurate records of Iranian student recruitment.
- Assist in processing applications and administrative duties.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative teams.
- General Responsibilities
- Attend and contribute to department and staff meetings.
