Client Group: Large Accommodation

Contract: Casual ADHOC Shifts - Nights (12 hour shifts)

Hours: Variable 9pm - 9am

Location: Sunderland

Rate: £17.28 (Inclusive of Holiday Pay)

Ashberry Recruitment are currently looking for Casual Night Concierge staff to work in the Sunderland Area on an ongoing basis. The Night Concierge will play an integral role in tackling homelessness in the area and will assist in providing an environment where people feel empowered and move forward with confidence, knowledge and support.

Duties Include:

  • Provide front of house assistance
  • Providing emotional and practical support to Clients
  • Providing a safe and supportive environment for the Clients
  • Empower and Support Young people to achieve independence
  • Build positive and respectful relations with clients, colleagues and external agencies
  • Maintain a safe and risk-free environment for the Clients and champion the wellbeing of every client
  • Ensure communication systems are maintained and up to date
  • Be aware and work within Agreed organisations policies and procedures

Requirements for the role:

  • Experience of working in supported housing essential
  • Experience of working with a range of client group 16 - 25 years +
  • Experience working with the following client groups - Domestic Violence and Mental Health
  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Must have a proven track record of providing information, advice and guidance to clients
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic IT suitable for an office environment
  • Knowledge of basic housing management tasks, i.e. rent collection, tenancy agreements and arrears management
