Ashberry Recruitment represent hundreds of experienced Residential Support Workers across the North for casual, ad-hoc and temporary work with our specialist social care clients. Presently we are keen to identify new staff to supplement our current team of amazing support workers and are particularly interested in candidates who can be consistently available for work with children and young people residing in the care system, across Stretford and the surrounding areas.
The nature of our client base means that staffing needs can arise at the drop of a hat; not only to cover sickness, holidays and gaps in a team but more often for the safety of the young people they support. Whether it be to accommodate a new young person moving into a service in an emergency, children putting themselves at risk of self-harm or sexual exploitation, or presenting with extremely challenging behaviours, we need staff who can often be available at short notice but also on a consistent basis in order to maintain continuity of care for the children and young people supported.
We are looking for candidates with experience of working within a children’s home and/or leaving care environment. An NVQL3 Residential Child Care qualification would be advantageous but isn’t essential. Our bank workers are dependable, reliable and committed. We need workers who can be available at short notice, across 7 days to include weekends and bank holidays. Ideally with their own transport, and business insurance is desirable.
Ashberry offer very competitive rates of pay, complying with Agency Worker Regulations and an incomparable customer service. Candidates are kept busy, looked after and paid in a timely manner. Immediate work is available on successful completion of pre-employment checks so please get in touch ASAP if you’re interested. We can’t wait to hear from you!
