Ashberry recruitment are currently hiring Female Housing support workers in the South Yorkshire area, to work for a well-established organisation that prevents homelessness.
Assist with the delivery of a high-quality Programme of support which promotes client choice and control:
- To address client support needs, enable them to achieve positive life changes and ultimately empower them to lead more sustainable lifestyles.
- May work on a 1:1 basis with clients such as taking them out for coffee, taking them to appointments etc.
- Liase with manager and senior support worker(s).
- CCTV monitoring required.
- Provide front of house support and reception duties, as well as administrative support including day-to-day office duties.
- Assist the support team with sourcing and facilitating planned move-on options for clients where appropriate.
- Support and develop volunteers as appropriate.
Project Information:
- Single homeless females aged 18+
- 11 Bed Hostel - 11 women in currently since Jan 2025.
- Women may be victims of human trafficking.
- Women live in the project for up to 6 months.
- Females can be chaotic and present with a range of mental health needs and addictions.
Requirements:
- Good IT skills with previous experience using Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience of working in supported housing.
- Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in a related field.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety.
- Driver with full driving license.
- Business insurance on your car.
