The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.

To support clients in housing/family crisis.

To support clients who are homeless or in tenancies with housing issues or personal issues with health.

To work in a day centre for homeless and vulnerable adults where they offer showering, food, and laundry facilities.

Develop links with the local community.

Maintenance of the Health and Safety incident and accident records.

Supporting clients with welfare rights, budgeting, employment, education, and training.

Ensure communication systems are accurately maintained and up-to-date.

To be aware of and work within agreed organisation policies and procedures.

To ensure clients comply with their tenancy agreement.

This job is a part-time role, therefore you will be working with the agency as and when you are needed and on your own accord.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the housing support work sector is a MUST.
  • Passion for helping vulnerable people in need of support.
  • Knowledge of the benefits system, tenancies, and general finance knowledge.
  • Knowledge of basic housing management tasks, i.e. rent collection, tenancy agreements, and arrears management.
  • Must have a proven track record of providing information, advice, and guidance to clients.
Preferred:
  • NVQ level 2 or above in the relevant sector.
  • Driving license and car.
