We are looking for experienced social workers who have worked with people who have a learning disability, have care act, mental capacity act and best interests experience. Alongside risk management and multiagency working.
We work in a busy city. Although home based working is an option the work will largely be based in the office. This is in Wythenshawe. Duty cover is 1 full week on – all of these days will need to be office based. The candidate needs to have statutory experience and experience of working with people who have a learning disability. The case allocation will be a mixture of care act assessments, support panning, capacity assessments, best interests and safeguarding. We expect you will follow our policies and processes.

• DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
• Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
• Possess knowledge of service needs.
• Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
• Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
• Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
