Bank / Relief Healthcare Assistant
We are looking for reliable and compassionate Bank / Relief Healthcare Assistants to join our flexible staffing pool, covering shifts as and when needed across the home. This is an ideal role if you want flexible hours around other commitments while still making a real difference to residents' lives. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
£13.39 per hour

The Role
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver personal care and support to residents in line with individual care plans, across a variety of shift patterns.
- Assist with meals and fluids, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers as per their care plan.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records for every shift worked.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement to promote wellbeing.
- Ensure residents' privacy, dignity, and respect are upheld at all times.
- Confirm availability regularly and respond promptly to shift requests, including at short notice.
Skills & Experience
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts at short notice, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Kind, reliable, and compassionate approach to care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
