The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Team Leader (Care) to support residents and lead care staff within our clinical care home.
This is a hands‑on role, combining direct care with shift leadership to ensure high standards of person‑centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise care staff on shift and act as senior point of contact.
- Deliver and oversee care in line with individual care plans.
- Promote residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
- Assist with clinical tasks and medication administration in line with MAR charts and protocols.
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional wellbeing and upscale concerns.
- Complete clear handovers and maintain accurate care documentation.
- Ensure care delivery meets safeguarding, infection control, and CQC requirements.
- Support new starters and promote Ashberry values of Compassion, Integrity, and Loyalty.
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) preferred.
- Experience in a care setting, ideally as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader.
- Confident, calm, and supportive leadership style.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional.
