Holmer Court Care Home sits in a quiet residential location on the outskirts of Hereford City Centre. Winner at The Herefordshire Times Health & Social Care Awards for 3 consecutive years, our home focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care and ensuring residents and their families feel supported and respected.

The Role
We are looking for someone to join our friendly team as a Kitchen Assistant. In this role you will be an important member of the team, assisting with the preparation of the fresh homemade meals we serve to our residents. Quality food has always been an important aspect of our care, and we focus on serving nutritionally balanced, classic and comforting meals to suit each resident’s individual tastes and preferences.
Responsibilities
- Preparing all food items, as directed
- Washing up and cleaning kitchen surfaces and equipment to our high standards
- Supporting the delivery and service of food, if required
- Reporting any incidents or accidents to the Head Cook and, if required, recording details of the situation
Qualifications
Experience is not required as full training will be given.
Part time: 2 days a week
