Moorhouse Care Home is a charming country house providing dementia and residential care to up to 36 elderly men and women in Hindhead, Surrey. The home focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care and ensuring residents and families feel supported and respected.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and organised Administrator to be the first point of contact for our home. You will provide a professional, welcoming service to residents, families, and visitors while managing a range of administrative and financial duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors and manage incoming calls and emails in a professional manner.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, including resident records and correspondence.
  • Manage financial processes such as resident fees, invoicing, and payroll support.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and filing systems.
  • Liaise with residents and families, offering empathetic and effective communication.
  • Support the Home Manager with reports, audits, and compliance documentation.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time‑management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Previous administrative experience (care sector preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
