We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Care Assistant to join our friendly team.
The Home
Brockworth House Nursing Home is located in a peaceful area of Gloucester, overlooking Coopers Hill and close to the scenic Witcombe Reservoirs. The home provides high-quality nursing and dementia care for up to 52 residents. Set within beautiful grounds, Brockworth House offers a warm, family-like environment where residents can feel safe, valued, and supported. Our dedicated team focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care, ensuring residents and their families feel respected and truly at home.
The Role
We are seeking a kind and compassionate Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support residents with daily living activities, promoting independence, dignity, and comfort. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care and support to residents in line with individual care plans.
- Assist with meals and fluids, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers as per their care plan.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement to promote wellbeing.
- Ensure residents’ privacy, dignity, and respect are upheld at all times.
