The Role

We are seeking a caring and attentive Night Care Assistant to join our dedicated team.

You will play a vital role in supporting residents overnight, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing while maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to residents during the night in accordance with their individual care plans.
  • Assist residents with mobility, toileting, and repositioning as required.
  • Carry out regular wellbeing and safety checks on residents.
  • Respond promptly and sensitively to residents' needs and requests.
  • Maintain accurate night-time records and report any changes or concerns to the Team Leader or Nurse.
  • Support with light domestic duties to ensure a clean and safe environment for the morning.
  • Uphold residents' dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work effectively during night shifts, remaining alert and responsive.
  • Kind, patient, and compassionate approach to care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
