Located in the picturesque heart of Hindhead, Surrey, Moorhouse Care Home is a charming country house that provides top-quality dementia and residential care to up to 36 elderly men and women. Our home focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care and ensuring residents and their families feel supported and respected.

The Role

We are looking for kind and compassionate individuals who want to enhance the lives of others and offer quality care and support to join our already‑established care team. As a Care Assistant at Moorhouse, you’ll play a key role in helping residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the high‑quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and create meaningful moments and memories. This is your chance to bring your compassion and dedication to a rewarding environment. Each day will offer new challenges, making the work as diverse as it is fulfilling.

Responsibilities

  • Personal care
  • Assistance with meals and fluids
  • Transferring residents as per care plan
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Offering comfort, stimulation and support, whilst maintaining residents’ privacy and dignity
