About Ash Tree House Care Home
Ash Tree House Care Home in Hindley, Wigan provides residential and residential dementia care for older people.
With 60 spacious bedrooms, en suite facilities and landscaped gardens, the home offers a comfortable and welcoming environment.
The team focuses on person centred care, supporting residents to maintain their independence and enjoy an active lifestyle.
- Contracted to 16 hours per week
- Paid [PVG/DBS], pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based a full time contract)
Role Overview
As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centered activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.
You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs.
Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.
Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected.
This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
