The Company: Our client is a subsidiary of a long established, privately owned British multi-national manufacturing Group headquartered in the UK with operations in the UK, North America, Mexico, China and Malaysia.
The Job: Reporting directly to the Group MD, you would enjoy full P&L and operational responsibility for this £5m+ business based near Bristol. The business benefits from strong recurring revenues, a solid customer base and a respected position within a specialist and evolving market. Significant growth is anticipated through new product development, service expansion and operational scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and deliver the commercial proposition embracing strategic development, market share expansion, pricing models, operational performance and sustainable EBITDA growth in line with Group objectives.
- Leadership, development and empowerment of a cohesive Management team comprising Sales, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Administration; strengthening structures and driving engagement through the use of meaningful KPI frameworks and performance metrics.
- Act as the principal conduit and external interface to markets, key customers, strategic supply chain partners and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Development of new business opportunities and markets, taking an energetic lead in terms of strategic planning and longer term value creation initiatives.
- Structured and timely reporting of financial performance, operational delivery and strategic objectives to the Group Board. Development, control and analysis of annual budget/expenditure processes.
- Strong focus on compliance with health, safety, quality, and corporate governance obligations.
The Person:
- A proven P&L responsible senior leader from an appropriate commercial or manufacturing background. Sector-specific Non-Woven, Textiles or Industrial Laundry experience is not a pre-requisite - but would be valued.
- A visible, credible and hands on leadership style, able to combine clarity of direction with strong communication and stakeholder management skills able to lead from the front.
- A track record of delivering commercial growth winning customers, exploiting market opportunities, developing new service lines, improving operational performance and delivering sustainable revenue performance.
- Strong financial, commercial and negotiating acumen together with well-developed budget and financial management planning capabilities.
