Position Overview: Teacher of Food Technology – Ash Green School, Coventry.

Salary: MPS £32,916 – UPS £51,048.

Start date: September 2026.

Contract type: Permanent.

Working pattern: Full time, 32.50 hours.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (Essential)
  • Degree or equivalent in food technology or relevant subject.
  • Experience of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment.
  • Successful teaching experience in the Secondary phase.
  • Knowledge of the food/nutrition curriculum requirements of key stage 3 and 4 and experience of writing lesson plans, developmental resources and assessment of students' work.
  • Passionate about your subject area.
