Job Purpose:To be responsible for the effective day-to-day management, maintenance, security and operation of the school premises, ensuring that the buildings, grounds and facilities provide a safe, secure, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, visitors and the wider school community.
The postholder will take an active role in premises-related health and safety and statutory compliance, ensuring that required inspections, checks, testing and maintenance are completed within the required timescales and that appropriate records are maintained.
The Premises Manager will work closely with the Academy Business Manager and other senior staff to identify premises issues, manage contractors and support the effective delivery of the school's premises and estates responsibilities.
