We seek an experienced Accountant to support the leadership team in delivering accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and efficient finance operations within a well-established business services provider. The appointee will play a key role in the month-end close process, along with supporting the Management team within all areas of the department and ensuring the finance function effectively supports the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Assist with compliance for VAT, PAYE, Plastics Tax and statutory reporting.
- Support AP/AR ledgers as needed.
- Weekly supplier payment run.
- Monitor overdue debt and support credit control activities.
- Review supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Support weekly and monthly group reporting.
- Support with year-end including liaising with external accountant and audit queries.
- Support the administration and renewal of supplier and customer contracts.
- Cover for Payroll administration.
- Support the HR function.
Skills & Experience Required
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Previous accounting experience.
- Experience using Xero systems beneficial.
- Accounting Qualification.

- Proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to deep-dive into numbers.
