Management Accountant â Sheffield
Salary/Hours: c ÂŁ40,000 (plus benefits) depending on experience â Monday to Friday, 5 days per week over 35 hours per week.
Location: S35, Ecclesfield, Sheffield â office based.
Job Type: Full Time, may consider Part Time pro-rata salary to suit (5 days/week required).
Ash Consulting are working with a well-established Compliance and Contractor Management Software company who seek to appoint an experienced and qualified candidate that is proâactive, flexible and has a âcanâdoâ attitude to fulfil the role of Management Accountant. The appointee will be responsible for providing management accountsâbased duties and associated confidential financial administrative support work and will report directly to the MD and also to the Board of Directors. Applicants should ideally be suitably qualified and ideally have experience with Xero accounting and payroll software.

- Balance sheet, including reconciliation â monthly
- Board reports â biâmonthly
- Recording/reporting on the company\âs financial transactions
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Sales
- P&L
- Cash flow
- Prepayments
- Payroll processing
- Summary prepared by MD for processing
- Accounts payable
- Suppliersâ invoices and statements
- Co. credit card inc. reconciliation
- Expenses and mileage
- Purchase ledger reconciliation
- Creditor payments
- Co. House filing
- HMRC
- VAT preparation and submission
- Shareholder admin and returns
- Annual returns
- Support Operational Accounts team, working together
- Support annual audit by external auditors
- Any other accounting tasks as required
Other Duties
- General support to other office support colleagues as needed
Key Experience, Ideal Skills and Qualities
- Experience in using Xero is essential
- Competent user in Microsoft Excel, reporting, pivot tables etc.
- Demonstrate experience in a similar role, duties
- Accountancy/bookkeeping â minimum 3 year required
- Xero â Minimum 1 year required
- Accountancy qualifications â preferred
