Ash Consulting are working with a well established manufacturer of precision components for a range of industries and clients both in the UK and overseas. Ongoing growth within the well invested machine shop has created the need for a further experienced CNC Machinist with strong experience across milling and/or grinding.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC milling and grinding machines. Some programming experience online or offline is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Programming machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform basic CNC programming, with the opportunity to develop these skills further.
- Carry out machine maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth production processes.
- Adhere to health and safety standards in the workshop.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experienced operating CNC milling and grinding machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- CNC programming experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Salary and Benefits
The salary offered for this position is relevant to the skills, qualifications and experience to a candidate who can meet all or most of the key requirements. Also on offer is a pension, 25 days holiday plus statutory days, secure on site parking, ongoing training and development, days only, overtime available.
