Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Field Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our long-established team in Gloucester.

At ASGuk, we specialise in the installation and maintenance of a range of security systems such as Access Control, Intercom Entry, IP CCTV, Emergency Call, Automatic Doors, Automatic Barriers & Gates.

We\’re looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years proven experience in the Field Service Maintenance of security systems or a closely related industry.

Package Overview:

· £30,000 – £35,000 basic (depending on experience) + overtime opportunities
· Profit share scheme (annual profit share over and above salary).
· Company mobile phone, iPad and all specialist tools provided.
· Well-equipped company vehicle provided (includes private use where desired)
· Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm

· 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (typically 32 days per annum)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Successful service and maintenance of our security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Entry Systems, IP CCTV, Emergency Call, Automatic Doors, Automatic Barriers & Gates).
  • Manage your own diary effectively to ensure efficient planning and completion of work.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and office admin team.
  • Ensure all systems meet the necessary health and safety regulations and standards
  • Accurately completing electronic service management worksheets to a professional standard.
  • Maintain and update asset managment documentation.

Essential Requirements
For this role you MUST have the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in the UK security systems industry.
  • A good positive work ethic, a positive attitude and excellent time keeping skills.
  • The ability to adapt to changing environments and products.
  • Physically fit and capable of using steps and other access equipment.
  • Strong initiative, high degree of attention to detail and be responsible for your own work from start to completion.
  • Motivation to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A great communicator in fluent English, written and spoken.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Preferred requirements
It would also be ideal if you had the following, although not essential as training would be provided where needed.

  • Previous experience in servicing and maintaining automatic doors, barriers and gates.
  • BSEN16005 approved.
