Main Responsibilities
- As a Retail Security Officer you will provide visible deterrence, respond to incidents, complete incident reports and collaborate with local authorities.
- Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
- Assess and identify vulnerabilities, working proactively to minimise risk.
- Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
- Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress.
- Complete colleague and contractor searches in line with customer company policy.
- Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning.
- Produce detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities.

- Shift Pattern: Varied (Relief Position)
- Hourly Rate: Site dependent, between £12.71–£15.00 per hour.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have a valid SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence.
- Previous retail security experience is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Provide a full 5‑year checkable work or back‑to‑school history and recent proof of address and right‑to‑work documents.
