Key Duties & Responsibilities will include:

  • TSS (temporary) Install works will include the following:
    • Solar Powered CCTV towers
    • Wasps (perimeter intrusion detection)
    • RSI Videofied Systems
    • Wireless fire systems including WES and Howler Systems
    • Full hard-wired CCTV Systems complete with Portable towers (Bastions)
    • Lewis Trailers
    • Time lapse Cameras
    • Turnstiles complete with Biometric Access
  • Permanent Installs:
    • Full CCTV systems
    • Record only and fully Monitored systems
    • Intruder alarms systems
    • Bells only and fully monitored
    • Access systems
    • Turnstiles
    • Biometric readers

You will be responsible for the customer base which lies within your own service area. We will endeavour to keep you within a set Service area, but there will be occurrences where we require you to work outside your normal Service area. You will always maintain levels of professionalism whilst representing the company in an approachable friendly manner, building working relationships with customer representatives at the sites where you regularly attend. You will be required to assist in maintaining all SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) that we have agreed with customers and do your utmost to work as efficiently and professionally as possible to ensure we meet these demands.

Knowledge and skills requirement:

  • You will possess a sound understanding and experience of CCTV / Intruder / Access Control / Fire systems. Amberstone will ensure that you are fully trained in the latest relevant safe working practices and training will be provided on different systems should you need it.
  • Our ideal candidate requirements:
    • Be able to carry out maintenance and fault finding to a high level on all system types
    • Successfully meet security screening requirements to BS7858:2009, DBS and Police check
    • A High level of knowledge working on manufacturers such as but not limited to: Honeywell, Menvier, Texecom, Paxton, C-Tec, Advanced, Morley, Hikvision, Galaxy and more
    • Availability to be included within the company 24 hour call out rota

  • Possess the ability to work independently and take initiative, while still being a collaborative team member.
  • Demonstrate good judgement and the capacity to make rational decisions within limited timeframes.
  • Oversee vehicle stock control.
  • Consistently adhere to and responsibly work in accordance with the company's health and safety policy.
  • Accurately complete audit paperwork and job sheets, whether manually or electronically.
  • Exhibit reliability, organisation, a strong work ethic, and effective planning skills.
  • Hold a valid and clean driving license.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Engineers Responsibilities and requirements:

  • Driver's license.
  • Working primarily within the construction and CPNI Industry.
  • Main duties will involve working outside.
  • Good physical strength and hand-eye coordination may be required.
  • Good time management, critical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Attending workshops, and participating in as many learning opportunities as possible.
  • Assisting within the relevant department, but also learning about other aspects of the company.
  • Observing health and safety procedures.
  • Positively receiving feedback.
  • Attending meetings and offering suggestions for improvement.
  • Building professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
