We are looking for a Retail Security Officer to provide visible deterrence, respond to incidents, complete reports, and collaborate with local authorities. The position is based at Cromwell Road, Grimsby.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
  • Assess and identify vulnerabilities, and work proactively to minimise risk.
  • Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
  • Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to prevent distress.
  • Complete colleague and contractor searches as required by company policy.
  • Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones for daily activity planning.
  • Provide detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities.

Qualifications

  • A valid SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence is required.
  • Previous retail security experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • A full 5‑year checkable work or education history must be provided; bring right‑to‑work and proof of address documents to interview.

Working Conditions
