Main Responsibilities

  • Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity
  • Assess and identify vulnerabilities, and work proactively to minimise risk
  • Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable
  • Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress
  • Complete colleague and contractor searches in line with company policy
  • Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning
  • Provide detailed and legible incident reporting to assist the client and local authorities

Hourly Rate Site dependent, between £12.71– £15.00 per hour

Required Experience and Qualification

  • Valid SIA licence is mandatory.
  • Previous retail security experience is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Applicants must provide a full 5‑year checkable work or education history.
  • Bring proof of right to work and a recent proof of address if selected for interview.
