At Asda, as our Night Manager, you will manage and lead the night team to keep everything running whilst the rest of the world sleeps, ensuring we are delivering the best availability and highest shop floor standards across all departments, whilst ensuring our store remains safe and legal for our customers and colleagues. You’ll work a rolling rota and 4 nights over 7 including weekend working. You will be solely responsible for the store through the night, overseeing operations where the store is open 24 hours.
What qualities you’ll need:
- Drive strategy into action: Planning and executing all trading activity on the shopfloor during night shift by ensuring delivery is date rotated and waste and returns are managed correctly.
- Lead with impact: Leading and coaching night colleagues and team leaders to deliver excellent shopfloor standards.
- Execution-focused: Ensuring shopfloor is presentable for customers before handing over to day team.
- Talent Development: Listen with empathy, driving resilience and encouraging ownership, focus, and passion for the business.
