Key Responsibilities:

Service Transition:

  • Lead the planning and execution of service transition activities for new or changed services.
  • Ensure operational readiness, including documentation, training, and support models.
  • Collaborate with project teams, architects, and service owners to ensure smooth handover into operations.
  • Conduct service readiness assessments and post-implementation reviews.

Service Operations:

  • Oversee the delivery of live services, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Drive incident, problem, and change management processes in line with ITIL best practices.
  • Monitor service performance and lead service improvement initiatives.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical service issues and major incidents.

Third-Party/Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with external service providers and technology partners.
  • Ensure third-party compliance with contractual obligations and service levels.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and manage service improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with procurement and legal teams on contract negotiations and renewals.

Governance & Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain service lifecycle governance frameworks and policies.
  • Produce regular reports on service performance, risks, and improvement actions.
  • Support audits and compliance activities related to service management.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Govern and optimize services across the Service Value Chain, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and customer expectations.
  • Champion a holistic approach to service management, integrating practices such as Change Enablement, Service Design, and Continual Improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across service transition and operations.
  • Collaborate with business units, product teams, and suppliers to co-create value through effective service delivery and support.
  • Maintain strong service relationships, ensuring stakeholder needs are understood and met through tailored service offerings.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.

Continual Improvement

  • Drive a culture of continual improvement using data-driven insights, feedback loops, and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate regular service reviews, improvement workshops, and retrospectives to identify and implement enhancements.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure services comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Manage risks across the service lifecycle, including operational, security, and supplier-related risks.

Service Portfolio & Catalogue Management

  • Maintain an accurate and dynamic Service Portfolio and Service Catalogue, ensuring visibility and accessibility of services to stakeholders.
