About the Role: To be employed in this role you must be over the age of 18 and pass a basic safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24/7, offering various shift patterns. Flexibility is key, with weekend work being a requirement. We will work with you on your shifts to accommodate your lifestyle. At Asda, the safety and security of our colleagues and customers is a top priority. Security colleagues play a vital role in safeguarding our people and property. Your responsibilities include patrolling and checking store premises for signs of damage, break-ins, or tampering, including external and internal areas. You will conduct daily checks on fire doors, clear obstructions, and maintain records. You may need to handle conflicts and support colleagues and customers in heightened situations. Additionally, you will assist with spot checks on vehicles, paperwork, claims, returns, waste management, and lost property.
