The role is responsible for supporting the product manager in defining and executing the product strategy, vision, and roadmap. This includes maintaining a well-organised product backlog, ensuring effective system maintenance, and contributing to a clear product vision informed by user feedback, business needs, and data-driven insights. The position plays a critical part in enhancing user experience, improving adoption, and optimising product performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the product roadmap and contribute to defining long-term product vision and strategy.
- Work closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-defined backlog items.
- Proactively analyse user needs, market trends, and business priorities to inform product decisions.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the product through regular feedback loops and data insights.
- Maintain a clear, prioritised, and organised product backlog aligned to business value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure user stories are well understood and ready for development.
- Support release planning and ensure readiness of features, enhancements, and fixes.
- Oversee routine system maintenance and ensure the product remains stable, reliable, and user-focused.
- Investigate issues, conduct analysis, and work with both technical teams and business users to resolve problems efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve product performance, process efficiency, and user experience.
- Actively contribute to initiatives that enhance user experience and drive adoption across the organisation.
