Practice Manager – Asda
Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role is a hybrid of patient care and commercial focus. It requires strong leadership, passion for health care, patients and driving a profitable business. The role is accountable for delivering all pharmacy‑related targets and deadlines and managing the store pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues, supporting the drive to make Asda Pharmacy the best in class.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience and achieve high standards of patient safety.
- Take direct responsibility for the support and development of all direct reports and locums, maintaining high standards of professional customer service and compliance within GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
- Operate the store under the guidance of in‑store, regional and home office teams, ensuring expert clinical and service support.
- Achieve pharmacy‑related targets and deadlines and drive a profitable business.

Qualifications & Requirements
- A fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC
- Accredited to deliver national and local NHS and private services
- Ability to balance the roles of line manager and pharmacist and deliver a safe working environment
- Strong leadership to inspire and motivate the team to achieve defined KRAs
- Experience in exercising clinical judgement, confronting and solving difficult situations while maintaining solid connections in store and with field teams
- Valid GPhC registration, right to work in the UK and safeguarding qualifications
- Successful DBS check and live update service enrolment, with documentation provided upon request
